Kalyan Kinnar Mahotsav in 2025: Helping the Transgender Community

Kalyan: The Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), along with Kinnar Asmita, is putting on the Kinnar Mahotsav in 2025.

It’s happening Monday at Acharya Atre Rangmandir in Kalyan. The point of this event is to back the transgender community by helping them find jobs, live with respect, and learn what the government can do for them.

Big names in the transgender community, like Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi and Gauri Sawant, are going to be there. Expect cultural stuff, funny stand-up acts, and a chance for trans people to sign up and learn about support programs.

KDMC wants to give free job training and help people start their own businesses so they can have better lives.

The goal of the Kinnar Mahotsav in 2025 is to get the transgender community more involved in everyday life. The big idea is to give them the chance to live with the respect they deserve.

KDMC Commissioner Dr. Indu Rani Jakhar has told her team to really put effort into including and helping trans people.

Sanjay Jadhav, who’s in charge of the Social Development Department, will be watching over how these support programs are put into action.
